VHF 1/2 Wave No Ground Plane (NGP) Antenna delivers optimum performance in the VHF range of frequencies. Enhanced with wide-band technology, this plug-and-play antenna doesn't require metal surface attachment. Even without ground plane usage, the antenna performs well for all users. Comprised of a molded high heat ABS base with silver soldered connections, gold plated push pin contacts, and O-ring. The antenna covers VHF Range of 136-174 Mhz, pre-tuned to 154 MHz. It has no connector type, is chrome colored, and offers 4.5 dB gain with VHF Bandwidth of 4 MHz. Power capacity is up to 120 watts. The whip, made from 17-7PH Stainless Steel, measures 39.8in at 154 MHz. Offering an NMO Style VHF Base, this pre-tuned antenna is ready for mounting and usage.
