Shock Services

 

Downsouth Motorsports specializes in servicing all major brands of shocks, such as King, Fox and ICON just to name a few.

Our definition of shock services:

  • Note all current settings, such as pre-load, cross-over ring location, bypass tube adjustments and nitrogen psi
  • Dis-assmble shock completely and spec out valving and working piston orientation
  • All parts run through an Ultrasonic Washer
  • Next in an Aqueous Machine, then blow off and inspect all parts
  • Shafts get checked for run out and any pits or knicks, then polished on a "High Speed" polisher
  • Re-assemble Shock / Bleed / Charge with Nitrogen

Our shock services include new seals, new oil, polish shafts, de-burr cylinders and any other parts needed would have an additional cost.
