The Rugged Radio’s coax cable features a crimped NMO connection, creating a secure, weathertight connection for reliability and durability. Appropriate for VHF and UHF applications, this cable mount requires a 3/8in thread hole. It is suitable for mounting applications where a thicker roof is present, requiring an NMO mount up to a 1/2in thick. Over tightening of the NMO nut or antenna to the NMO connector is discouraged.
