Despite its small size that fits perfectly in a pocket, it can plug into any 3.5mm speaker outlet, making it ideal for high noise environments. The package includes an external speaker with a wired male 3.5mm plug and mounting brackets. The speaker specifications are 5 watts/8 ohm with dimensions of 5in x 3in x 2in and a cable length of 76in. To ensure radio traffic is heard in your headset or helmet kit while using this speaker with your radio, pair it with CJ-SPK-DC and SPLITTER-MONO-3.5 which will disable the radio speaker and pass the signal to the external speaker and your intercom. This setup is not compatible with Rugged Radios RDM-DB.
